So it was called "Ectopic Mongolian Spot"? I have one of those in on one the back of my hand. First time hearing a name for it. (=・ω・=)
People always asked when I was a kid;
"Did you smudge coal in your hands?" Since it was pitch black when I was a kid.
"It's a birthmark"
They would reply with awe then ask "What does it feel?"
"Nothing, it's just skin."
"That's so cool."
But I remembered when my mother bathed me she would scrub it and hear her tell me;
"It won't go away..."
I then said; "It's already there, It'll hurt me if we scrubbed it away. It's my skin and I don't want to get hurt.."
Sometimes my Aunt's and Uncle would tease me; "Look at your hand, Are you sure it's not smugged coal or marker?"
"It doesn't move when we wipe it.."
"It's pitch black, shouldn't we do something about it?"
I have no troubles with my birthmark since people assumed I used a marker or coal bc of my birthmark lol, Since I've grown my birthmark slowly turned from pitch black to a more gray-ish blue toned mark so most people took notice of it rarely. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
