No the beating was a result of Mokyeon's selfish actions and a bit of Nanjo's frustrationwith the entire situation.
But throughout the series we can see Nanjo getting closer to Mokyeon.
Just read through everything in one sitting. It's so OBVIOUS that Nanjo likes Mokyeon more than he did with Sunhwa, it is also obvious why Nanjo doesn't want to see him again.
Mokyeon has repeatedly violated the contracts and his boundaries, of course he needs space.
Also the way you guys were making Sunhwa out to be the devil, like he's purposefully trying to sabotage Mokyeon and Nanjo's relationship, when it is FARRR from the truth. Free my boy
