Am I the only one that doesn’t ship the doctor and the ex-gangster at all?
Like, during the main story, the ex-gangster confessed, got rejected, and actually respected the doctor’s answer. He didn’t force himself, didn’t keep chasing him, nothing. But after that, the doctor started acting so awkward every time he saw him, avoiding him in front of everyone and making it super obvious that he didn’t even want to be around him.
The ex-gangster literally had to clear up the misunderstanding himself and tell him, “I’m not trying to make you uncomfortable. You can just treat me normally. I’m not going to pressure you because I like you.” He even set boundaries and backed off.
So why is it that the SECOND he stops pursuing him, the doctor suddenly wants him? Now he’s showing up at his house, flirting, calling him sexy… like huh??
That just feels like he’s playing in his face. You rejected him, made him feel awkward for existing around you, then only caught feelings after he moved on and stopped giving you attention? That’s not romantic to me.
I know a lot of people love this ship, but I genuinely can’t get behind it. Their relationship just doesn’t feel satisfying after everything that happened.
