It'll be kinda funny if all of a sudden the comments suddenly start supporting scarface if the author decides to suddenly switch up and give me a male LI. I don't think that's the case, but I bet a majority of the readers will tolerate this side plot a lot better if the only relevant female character gets written out in favour of a yaoi story and wouldn't that be telling.
