I’ve had the same feeling too, I thought I was the only one. The art is amazing for sure but it’s the expressions that throw me off. Sometimes it feels like they look past each other and they show no real expressions during the intimate scenes as well

For one, I know they are drawings/arts or whatever but I think the artist/author need to trace real people's faces when depicting emotions because they look generic*?, bland, and stupid whenever they try to express their feelings through their faces. Because of this, the story, IN MY OPINION, looks bland af, though I still love them— they just look stupid as hell.
Does the artist only know how to draw an angry face?? Because the character's faces always looks devoid of emotions.
If many artist out there can do so, what's limiting them to do the same? Their capabilities? Nahh you're an artist, does your style never "actually" change overtime?
