He’s loved bc he resembles the manager and that has never been the case… he shares maybe personality traits but that doesn’t mean the prof loved him because of that.

well even if it’s not said outrightly, there are pretty much hints. like how he shared his music piece with manager first but declaring it as, as if he shared with garam first. this might be something he doesn't want to correct since he already considers Garam as the manager. and even the moments when he starts to look at Garam that way begin with people pointing out how much he resembles the manager and even he himself said it himself “i’m not losing you again,” while being intimate with garam. i’m not questioning jae’s love, he is down for garam but that love is toxic until he learned to let go his past. it’s undertsandable that someone stoic as him learning to be vulnerable with that person first so it’s hard to forget him and wants to see him in someone else but that means he’ll get irritated when garam don’t act like manager. and we see this moments pretty much as well. like how he don’t like when garam don’t act cute or cheerful as usual.
i get that love can be intense too and too much passion don’t ruin jae and garam’s care for eachother but still seeing gentle, comforting love of these two made my heart flutter i’m ngl maybe it’s because will is finding comfort in garam because of his own presence but jae himself is putting him into place of beloved one he lost long ago. i love garam sm and he genuinely deserves to be loved for who he is not who he is resembles to
