I mean why would she care, consider ur school teacher, if one of her students died, will she be devastated like it was her own kid? No. Yes she will be sad but why would she care about someone she only taught and didn't consider them as family.
Claude on the other hand, she considers him as her precious friend's precious son, she literally regressed (or whatever it was) multiple times to save him. That just shows how much she loved him, she considered him as her own child.
People be complaining about things without properly reading the story just bcs you save someone on a whim doesn't mean you will love them
I checked up on this story after so long and no way the disciple defenders are STILL here to this day. These disciples are freaking insane and have no guilt for killing and harming people to get their way. I still do not understand why ppl blame the FL. Their insane behavior is cause by themselves, not the FL. I feel like those bashing the FL and supporting the disciples have read way too many fictional stories to the point that they think this obsessive behavior is NORMAL.
No. You know what a normal reaction would be for “abandonment.” Here’s a prime example of a mother abandoning her biological child in REAL LIFE: the child would either resent the mother, possibly want the worst for her. Or feel sad at not being wanted. Or be indifferent and not care. At most, the action of searching for their mother would always either end in happiness, disappointment, or anger. But no child or adult would obsess over the person they got abandoned by, stalking them, forcing their way into their mother’s life. Most would find out the truth and leave the mother alone.
Another example is: Would any of you seriously be obsessed with your nice middle school teacher, assume that teacher raised you just cause they taught you lessons at school, and then stalk them to their house and stick to them?

Anyways at the end of the day, her feelings for those disciples don’t go beyond students. She never thought of them as her damn kids. She didn’t change their diapers and hand feed them. She taught them about magic and provided a sponsorship opportunity. Claude on the other hand, she raised the child not as a teacher but a nanny, like an aunt. The child of her beloved friend. I don’t get how ppl are shocked and confused in her behavior. Yall who are upset, are the ones who labeled her as some “kind motherly figure.” Assuming she’d be like that to anyone and everyone. Idk I think the wrong audience reached this story. The kinds of readers who have some sort of strong maternal feelings and want every kid to be treated the same and want the FL to be mother Mary.
