Really? You "can't believe humans would use that kind of destructive power on eachother?" You really can't believe it? The same species that dropped nuclear bombs, enslaves generations of innocent family members when one commits the crime of trying to leave the country, performed horrific experiments on unwilling innocents (the nazis, mk ultra, unit 731, and countless others)... there is no end to the limit of human cruelty. But maybe this is an idealized world where none of that stuff happened. Or maybe humans have banded together when faced with a different threat, but I just don't see that. I'm only on chapter 27, so maybe more gets explained about the world later on. As of now, these dungeons don't seem like that big of a threat. For real, what a ridiculous statement to make.
