( But it probably would not be shown cause for what I know the artist will only update till 500 chapter.. idk if it's true.. so I suggest read the novel around 700 chapter you will be able to know that scene ) It's a good arch, you will just have to have so many tissue because I couldn't breath from crying reading that arc
On the next arc, we will see the reason why chung myung hate nine great sect.. you see a bald head who you will hate for the entire series.

Honestly it might be better to drop this if you can’t stand “slow burn”, by this I mean that rotmhs is a very very long story but not in a bad way, it’s long because there are no plot holes and everything has a reason. Now if you can “wait”, drop this if you can’t stand angst because you are in for a roller coaster, the tag comedy is a scam, I’m not even exaggerating. I get it, the story seems long, the mc seems op but he really isn’t and all of this IS necessary. Do not forget that he died at 60+ (if I remember correctly) and he was a sword saint, it’s normal that he’s strong fast because he already walked this path, he is literally speed running the whole process because he HAS to become strong fast to defeat the heavenly demon that could appear at any damn time and he HAS to make mount hua strong fast so that they can actually survive this time. He is literally fighting against time and it’s still not going to be enough… His humour? It’s all his coping mechanism, the more the story goes, the more we’ll realise that he is not ok. Losing his entire sect left a deep scar in him, he’ll spend more and more time thinking about them. He blames himself all the time for it too…. And while he seems op, this is still nothing compared to his past strength, once again, he was a sword saint. He has already learned all there is to learn, the problem right now is that his body isn’t able to keep up with his knowledge and his past memories. You should also note that his current opponents are comparatively weaker to the past since the world has been at peace for 100 years, they have no reasons to train as hard as before because they believe that the demonic cult no longer exists, peace makes people weak over time. Chung myung is currently the only one who knows that the heavenly demon is going to come back.
