Josh isn’t saying anything to Chase because to chase, a person sexually assaulted him and was marked and impregnated in that moment. Now, he’s scared that chase will view it that way or get triggered. I think everyone is forgetting Chase has ptsd from sexual assault. Whether it was actual assault or if it was consensual but dubious is unknown (to us) but Josh knows that Chase has PTSD. That’s why he isn’t saying that he’s the person from that night. Technically, they were both assaulted. Chase was sexually assaulted (physically) and Josh was too (impregnated and marked). Difference is that Josh was semi lucid. Chase wasn’t. Josh can rationalise what happened but to Chase, he has no idea what happened. All he knows is that he was violated.
