I think its the curse that the closer herdin and Blair r the more it hurts the 2 of them or it reduces Blair lifespan or something ?? they just haven't figured out how to break it yet since this is what caused herdin to stay away from Blair in the first TL i think

I think the curse link will cause both parties to experience the same pain and suffering due to surging of uncontrolled powers, which will results into a uncontrollable rampage, which is triggered by heavy emotions.
