like, melissa was a child and basically terrified into acting the way she did, she just wanted to survive!! it doesn’t excuse what she did to kiana, but i like that the story acknowledges that she was coerced and not evil from the get go. it did definitely get to her head though and now she’s extremely selfish and willing to throw anybody who gets in her way under the bus. go repent lmaooo
i actually like the kiana acknowledged that she was wrong for bullying melissa and that melissa was basically forced into stealing piyak by her father. THAT DOES NOT MEAN SHE FORGIVES HER THOUGH!!! she literally says she’s still an accomplice/responsible for it!!
im sure she’s gonna inflict something horrible (probably humorous/ultimately harmless but torture to melissa specifically) but i appreciate the nuance here. im kind of tired of these wayyy too one-note and simple villains. melissa is absolutely pathetic, but her father set her up bro
