it's not like every timeline is fruitful. if she tries to end her life early, she gets injured and is forced to stay indoors. and her memories eventually clump together, with no diary, she can't keep track of things, or remember what to do exactly after restarting each time. it's not like she is free to travel/investigate anyways + butterfly effect. and u need to realize how incredibly depressing and hopeless she feels after maybe the 10th life, especially when she has no one to turn to. though i do agree some things could've been done more intelligently, there are too many variables us as readers do not see in the previous 100 years.
