yeah its actually crazy. like yeah he was raised by an awful person but he didnt have to do any of what he did especially once he burned her clothing. He deduced that she had no memory of being there previously. so he coulda just recharmed her and she would stay.
If he asked some damn questions of why she wanted to leave so badly instead of assuming he could find out that current her basically has nothing to return to & could really convince her to stay. (her mom & dad both dead now, bc the 1st time her mom was alive).
He also had the diary so if you want her to remember use that. Like this revenge is so unnecessary if you are just gonna make her stay in the world with you & be your wife again.
Now imo Ianna is also bad FL. bc when i got to the end of the novel and she was like sorta happy about having her family back in the way she does, I knew she lost her mind.
