I think the author really wanted us to see haebom being raped by that guy but then seeing the outrage and hate of the people even before any rape (as people already speculated that there will be rape) she changed the plot yeah or else this feels so put of the plot suddenly like who the hell tortures a gay guy by having sex with a woman
