It’s kinda surprising they changed this little detail from the novel but in the original, when MC went to the Redhead playboy’s company and demanded the money, Redhead playboy actually just gave him a wad of cash of 10 million but at that time he didnt tell MC that it was 10 million NOR did he say that MC has to pay for it. Because he basically said he “owed” the MC 7 million. MC only later found out that he was given 3 million more that was he asked.
Anyway i found it a little sad that they took this detail out, cause it kinda gave Redhead playboy some sort of redeeming characteristic? He just said “Here take the cash, since you’ve already started, might as well see to it until the end. Make that bastard go insane” or something along those lines.
Also, the pacing is very fast, definitely recommend reading the novel if you feel the sameლ(´ڡ`ლ)
