Guys this isnt what this story about who is better or sth ur comparing someone who had a good upbringing (im just talking about a financial upbringing because we dont know about nanjos familiy situation) with someone who was passed around and in the end had no family so of course hes pretty messed up (it doesnt excuse what he did) but there are people in the real world like mokyeom and they need honestly held and therapy and not a relationsship with a guy that honestly he worsship and is not at all that AND THATS THE THING nobody will ever be all that and can fill that void he has to do that himself sadly but this is a webtoon lol he wont get therapy but a lover lmao and in my opinion no one is the bad guy but ppls with flaws and comparing two guys with extreme different upbringings idk

Saying Nanjo has zero good traits just isn't true.

He treated Mokh like a normal person instead of holding how mok treated him till chapter 20. Unlike how Mokh treated him in the early chapters, Nanjo never responded with the same behaviour. As the story progresses (around Chapters 23–24), you can clearly see that.

Even Mokh admits that Nanjo is tender-hearted in chapter 25 and that's one of the things he likes about him.

Nanjo is also a good listener. He never judged Mok .When Mok told him about giving himself tattoos, Nanjo didn't dismiss him or make fun of him he listened, showed empathy, and even asked if it had hurt. If he were as cold or heartless he would've just ignored it.

You don't have to like Nanjo, but saying he has no good traits is simply inaccurate. The traits are there you just choose not to acknowledge them.

The blackmail explains why Nanjo stayed around Mok at first it doesn't explain everything he did afterwards.

No one forced him to listen to Mok's past without judging him, ask if his tattoos hurt, comfort him when he was vulnerable, or gradually change his opinion as he got to know him. Those moments happened because of Nanjo's personality, not because of the deal.

Also, you're overlooking that Nanjo initially did dislike Mok. He called him out, argued with him, and clearly wanted nothing to do with him. His opinion only changed after spending more time with him. That's character development, not "putting on a show."

You can say he's naïve or too forgiving, but saying he has no good traits doesn't really line up with what's shown in the story.

We haven't even seen Nanjo's upbringing though, so you're treating headcanon as fact. All we know is that he's wealthy. Having money doesn't automatically mean someone had a good childhood or healthy family life.

You're using an assumption about his upbringing to argue he has no good traits, but the story hasn't actually shown that. Judge him based on what's on the page, not on something the author hasn't revealed yet.
