This is truly such a beautiful story.. I genuinely had tears in my eyes when reading the flashback. Poor Edgar.. He did not deserve such a horrid end. And the voice.. “Rose”, if only he had been much more merciful. Honestly it reminds me of jinn stories about how they attach themselves to humans and ruin their lives. It’s why they tell you not to go out past evening in the forest with your hair down. You don’t want something negative to attract attention towards you. I understand it’s doomed yaoi but guys let’s acknowledge how the plot is way more than that. We’re talking a generational curse that has lasted for God knows how long. The undying love the voice had for Edgar is so pitiful but Edgar did not deserve such a terrible ending. My poor baby needs to be put to rest if anything. I only hope our fl can amend everything and maybe Rose will let Edgar go and learn to be happy without him or maybe even with a sliver of hope, Edgar will forgive Rose and they’ll be happy together.
