Anyways, the moral dillema of sympathizing with Heejae knowing how he really feels deep inside, when in reality it was actually all his fault from the very 1st place. When does the reason become the blame indeed.
I'm not antagonizing Heejae nor i'm saying that his abuse can be justified thru his recent 'emotional revelations', cuz broski, it's plain as day that you're the one who caused these cycle of abuse from the very start.
Is there a character development? Debatable. Heejae is 'changing', notably so since his colleagues are seeing it too, but the change is more of to satisfy his desire (and lowkey add fuel to the fire T--T) to keep the obsession at bay, the whole 'I must keep on polishing Garam cuz he's MY gem'. But! We could see that he is awknowledging the guilty feeling that has been eating him out slowly, and I could remember there are panels of him genuinely being a better person to others (if not towards Garam only) ssooooo i HOPE this scene/situation (if not one of Heejae's breaking points) will help him finally realzing his asshole-ness still pushes ppl away and HOPEFULLY, finally start changing fr.
