I have sympathy for him because of what he endured during his childhood, not because of the consequences he is currently facing for his own actions. Hurt people hurt people. But I completely agree that what he did to Nanjo was mental and sexual abuse and I'm just sticking around to see if the author can pull this off without romanticizing the abuse (I'm doubtful, but curious).
If any of you guys have sympathy for this idiot idk what to tell you- he was manipulating nanjo the whole time and basically raping him to get what he wants; yaoi and its tendency to romanticise abuse to love is annoying enough as it is, him thinking about killing himself cus his victim doesn’t want anything to do with him is on him anyways. This isn’t even romantic in the slightest.
