Look, I am fine with dark content, because bad things happen to people everyday. So I am fine with reading that a character suffers through sexual assault... but why does it have to be so graphic and almost romanticized, like its a part of the smit we are supposed to enjoy? Is it not enough to imply that it happens, make it more vague instead of something like that? Idk. Doesn't sit right with me, and it sucks because I like these two characters.

Right? It's sad that most writers focus so much on the physical part of it practically sexualizing it when they should focus on the emotional aspect which they don't even acknowledge

1000%. The emotional aspect, the trauma of it, would reach people a lot better than making it pornographic. Seriously sad

I skipped it so I can't judged. I think the only series I've seen so far where they portrayed a rape scene as horrible is the Sheep's Mask. It's somewhat of a horror so maybe that's why it got that treatment most rape scene esp if between MC and ML.. I'm not sure if I've seen a series where they portrayed it as horrible
