instead of spewing the same shit over and over about "jaehui is dumb!!", why don't you put on your own thinking cap and actually read the words the characters are saying, look at what they're doing, and at least make an attempt to understand what migaeng is trying to convey. i strongly encourage everyone to actually READ this manhwa instead of staring at the screen mindlessly and commenting the same 3 words.
jaehui is extremely careless, which makes him very easily influenced into making certain decisions. not only by other people, but by his own curiosity, boredom, and impulsiveness.
ex: dropped out of high school because his girlfriend asked him to; wastes money on "investments" because his friend encourages him to; slept with a random guy from work even though he had no previous intention to, just because the guy offered; "became gay" because getting raped apparently felt good(??), etc.
jaehui isn't dimb. he just doesn't give a shit, that's why he keeps doing dumb things. doing dumb things doesn't make someone dumb. when people reduce his character to just "a dumbass", the intentions behind his actions gets ignored.
at the beginning of ch25, it's literally told to the reader's face that jaehui is actively manipulating cheonho into hitting him because he gets off from it. during that interaction, we also see jaehui realize that simply staying out past curfew isn't enough to get the reaction he wants. he is actively analyzing cheonho's reactions to his disobedience here and testing how far he can push him before he snaps. did the people calling jaehui dumb just skip these panels because nobody's dick was out??
shortly afterwards, he goes drinking with his cryptochud friend. when cheonho calls to remind him about curfew, jaehui actually complies this time because he now knows breaking curfew isn't enough to make him snap. but then, cryptochud friend immediately puts jaehui into the perfect situation to piss cheonho off again by inviting him to basically throw a huge amount of his money down the drain. jaehui literally states that cheonho hates crypto and remembers that he's extremely frugal, and then the decision is left on a cliffhanger. if he accepts, cheonho will be angry; if he declines, he'll probably end up doing something worse to get the reaction he wants.
there's a reason these 3 scenes are in the same chapter. right after cheonho directly spells out jaehui's manipulative cycle, we immediately see jaehui changing his behaviour based on that information, and then he's handed an opportunity to do something that would have a much larger impact. the hoops jaehui is jumping through to get that masochist high are practically shoved in our faces, yet people still insist that he has nothing going on in his head.
also, migaeng is incredibly obvious and intentional with their fetishes. to everyone commenting "i hope cheonho doesn't get mad and beat up and rape jaehui again!!!!", i hate to break it to you, but he's gonna get mad and beat up and rape jaehui again lol. this is literally the type of dynamic migaeng is writing. if this kind of content makes you uncomfortable, that's understandable, but i don't know why you're reading weird fetish content and then acting shocked that the content is weird and fetishy.
