Only at ep 5 so far rn but bro i am so fucking sick of guides not getting any autonomy, be it autonomy in decision-making (his opinion actually being heard when he says he doesn't want to be mls guide) or bodily autonomy (literally basic respect for consent). Guides are supposed to be experts in the field of guiding, so I just don't understand why they're so rarely given the authority to assess an esper's needs and treat them according to that and instead just forced to "allow" espers to violate them. Even people whose work is particularly intimate have the right to autonomy.
