As the plot thickened, we get more angst between the mc and ml, but mostly about preventing from dying. Story focused more on the plot and discarded the actual romance we get at the start. Still recommend if you are after how the ml will fall in love with mc. As for the mc, though we can see that he gets flustered with the ml’s unexpected actions on some little moments, his feelings for the fl was so strong that it felt like he didnt have enoughy time to properly move on. We also didnt get enough chapters to see him actually get down bad for the ml in the same yearning he had for the daphne. Yeah again no well deserved wholesome happy lives with horneee peaceful smut after all that angst

I dont know how Ill rate it yet cuz I fell in love with the characters so muchh!! I have to say yall be prepared as this will go down a massive angstt, yes it has sum great twists. It was a HE, but im frkn slumped with how we didnt get more development in their romance after the angst. The novel was like 1-109comedy, romance with hint of angst, then the latter part 110-169 was just full on angst. It felt like the author had so much more ideas to add in the ending but they just gave up to finish the main story already. I was so torn cuz like there was literally no more romantic moments of them in the ending. The potential this novel has is just really ughhh like it couldve been so much moree!!!. I freakin loved the angst like it did hit me so much, but man I want a well deserved wholesome horny smuts in the end like give us their happy and peaceful moments after all that tragedy. But yeah Id still want to recommend this as the flow is really good, like you just want to see more and find out what ploy the mc is gonna do next and how the ml will react to it. All that great build up, then surprise all u get is them finally solving the problem but no deserved smooching in the end☹
