Blue balls

This was such a fun read up till Yeon had to sacrifice himself, then author JS threw in some rushed BS into the mix n didn't elaborate further.

I have a theory that since the anomaly was fixed AKA the switching of Yeon from the other world n the other, the supposed outbreak that happened didn't exist anymore, the reappearing of Nightmare nor the S+ gate that he died from. Hence, Yeon's sacrifice wasn't useless at all.

Though it really would be much better if MC's memories remained with him when he regressed or maybe he's memories of that timeline he was in gets rediscovered after a few days in, WE NEED SIDE STORIES!!!! The watch could've been used as a plot device of remembering something since it had a huge sentimental value.

I feel as if I'm an orphaned Victorian lad who was promised a warm soup with two loaves of bread, got shown, got a whiff of it, but never given the chance to actually consume it
