I absolutely love how this story is going! Not only is the FL amazing, but the way she handles things makes perfect sense. She was willing to hide away the rest of her life, one to not be bothered with the original plot, and two because she recognizes that while Hailey might have been betrayed by others, she still did bad things and thus shouldn't simply seek out revenge. However, now that she knows that if she doesn't step in, a lot of innocent people will be killed and the few people she cares for will get wrapped up in it, she's willing to take down those who are causing harm and she's still willing to be the "evil sorceress" that everyone thinks she is, so it's not like she's just trying to absolve the og!Hailey of her past misdeeds.
I also love the way the og!FL is being written. She's not one of those altruistic naive heroines who only looks at things black and white and takes people for their word. Yes, she cares about others and is not willing to seriously harm those who oppose her, but she will hold them accountable for their bad actions and question their motives. I'm so glad she's not a green tea chara, nor a naive goody-goody, but just a bright person who cares for even the og!villainess once she heard her story.
The fact that all the people who caused problems for og!Hailey are also going to get their comeuppance is something that I'm really looking forward to. I don't expect them to die or end up as prisoners, but I do think their reputations will be ruined and whatever titles they held in the original story will be stripped away from them. Add to the fact that Asta has no interest in any of them romantically and the happily ever afters they were planning on, won't be happening which is deserved.
Lastly, people are saying this is going to be a reverse harem ending and I honestly wouldn't mind it. It's clear with the two men on the cover that they are the strongest candidates and I like both. Winter has been a nice companion for our FL and Marris willing to do anything to get the FL on his side is fun to read. They both have unique dynamics with our FL so her being with either, or both would be just fine with me.
