I think that Jaiyi just thinks that he could easily get rid of Ideum if things go wrong, cause he's planning to move apartments after graduation anyway and Ideum himself said that he just wanted to lose his virginity and would be forever grateful if he helps.

Jaeyi said "he doesn't really understand these feelings himself" (Chapter 9)—referring to why he decided to enter into a friends-with-benefits arrangement with Ideum, as he dislikes it when emotions get in the way, and thinking Ideum Is a good choice for F-Buddy. But if he doesn't understand these feelings himself, how does it not occur to him that -he- might be the one to develop feelings? On the other hand, it’s illogical to think Ideum isn't the type to get emotionally attached—after all, Jaeyi (for Ideum) was his first kiss and his "first" in almost every regard; he was a total virgin, he is clearly a lonely person also. ANYWAY, I DON'T CARE—I love it!
