Just cuz you put a slice of cake next to a pile of shit doesn't mean I won't smell shit.

Why was everyone so fine with him being a terrible person, but it crosses the line if he's terrible to his girl? This feels so early 2000s shoujo minded where the guy is mean to everyone but her. Meanwhile he out there ruining lives cuz he has sad boy trauma and is edgy. I'm sorry, but when was her being with a crazy murderer that will regain his memories any minute ever truely "healthy" or "sweet". If you put his flaws aside, they're living in a fantasy sustained by lies. Did you just decide not to believe the foreshadowing, or all the little evil nuggets he exposes in his mind? He's crazy, I've always felt she put her guardian in danger just by knowing him. I'm glad people don't want MC to be abused, but something is really lacking in this half-baked "moral stance."

THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DARK ROMANCE, DUMMY! IT STARTED AS A LITERAL THRILLER!!!

I know this has happened to so many women in real life, falling for a bad guy pursuing you because he's nice to only you feels really good. And it's shocking when they one day do to you, what they do to other people every time. Yeah, the victim is "selfish", but I hate to see how common this is because so many real girls get hurt.
