Them being beyond fked is kinda the point of this.
It's not supposed to be real. He's not supposed to be based on a real masochist. He's not supposed to react like a real person. If the author made this story grounded in reality instead of fantastical stupidity it'd be fucked up for real.
This is how ridiculous stories like this are supposed to be framed. There are countless stories where death is treated the same.
This is by far one of the worst story I've ever read, and I've read my fair share of fucked up stories, but this is just blatantly disgusting and fetishizing abuse, I don't even know how. As an author, can you even come up with something like this? You either have to be high or on drugs to write AND CONTINUE this, I promise you, even if this story ends with the two main characters together in the end, it will never last. In my opinion, ML is abusive and MC is a doormat, no matter what happens Ml will just resort into hitting the Mc again and the fact that the author is brushing all the abuse off by saying that the MC is a masochist is so stupid, because I bet you real masochists wouldn't like this shit!
