I feel like this is one of those sweet slice of life stuff which makes you feel so fluffy reading it lol. One of my fav parts is the fact both characters are soft hearted especially Bessho, he breaks these patriarchal views set in BL where the Male lead should be wise, and a bit cold hearted??? The amount of times I've seen these two cry was amazing, cause it's not set out as a emotion they should fear but accept. It's beautiful how the author also showed a very emotional connection here of BESSHO, who's the ML with his friends. Usually, this is a case with the MC but it's pretty cool to see a ML who actually cares about his partner and loves his friends the same? Another subtle detail i noticed here is how the author gave Bessho a more anxious attribute, it's pretty cool cause half the time in Mangas, the loser ukes turn out to have those characteristics and are afraid of this big revelation of them being homo. BUT, they're not even popular, i don't it would be such a external problem but rather internal !!!! but the author shows how a character (bessho) who is a ML, also struggles with this whilst actually being popular and giving him more reason to be afraid of the external attitudes to his sexuality.
