What in a 2019 wattpad story is this new season? I swear with every update I feel like I’m loosing more brain cells since we kind of lost the plot for this season already, I don’t know if in my 7 years of reading bl, I ever saw a story where the author changed a fully fluffy manhwa with little to no drama into angsty slop for pure shits and giggles, like the author could have given us anything…if they made a new season with idk some AU where they could include some drama or they would make new season with their normal married life while they fought against someone together normally and used this magical thing called communication, no one would complain. But NUH UH the author created a new season that is completely different from the whole original narrative of the previous seasons, the shift feels unreal, like how did we go from slice of life bl that started as shounen-ai into the most generic ahhh plot with evil family member that is taking it too far to spit someone up with of course SA and rape on the side to create drama, when you’re trying to split someone up because you’re a homophobic piece of shit, most of the time you don’t do that thing when they’re adults who have their whole life build together dummy. When I first saw the announcement I was like yipeee new season of one of my first bl’s and also one of my comfort bl’s. I didn’t want to believe the bad feeling I had because of the new cover but like it went okay for like first 2 chapters of the new season and then all hell broke loose cause idk the author woke up one day and was like, yeah let’s make a new season of a cute story I created a while ago but like I wanna do it with dark colors now and just started throw in the most useless slop of a season together with unnecessary angst because yes that’s what the readers who have this as their comfort story and most of the time their whole introduction into world of bl want…at this point im just reading it cause i lowkey hope the author will be like “and then i woke up and told my husband about the craziest dream i had” #－.－)
