So far on chp 23

I really like this so far, but the case itself that they are working on is a bit…not well organized? I can’t quite pinpoint it exactly but it’s almost silly the logic they are using to solve this case. Like. It’s pretty damn obvious that Valentine is involved (not that the author is trying to make it NOT obvious), but why do they not question him more? Tampering with evidence is enough to get him in deep shit, idk why they are acting like that isn’t a big deal? Like it’s something they are skimming over and treating it lightly, almost like socially forgiving him because of his relationship with the perpetrator. It’s officially known that he tampered with evidence, that’s enough to get his badge taken and charged with criminal offense. Idk why they are acting like it’s no big deal. I’m not sure if it’s lack of understanding of the justice system or what, but dragging that on just to keep the plot from stagnating is legit illogical. It’s really throwing off the believability of the case itself.
