The other series is quite PG tbh and the artstyle is pretty different than this one, so idk if that’s why it was never portrayed properly the potential between both of them, like i could hardly guess seungju having a crush on muheun in that series so idk it was quite a bit of surprise
It's exactly because it's portraying highschool students. In night of muheun, even though seungjoo is already a college student, people still debate on how muheun is much older and even got borderline pedophile (like the future he saw when seungjoo was a baby, him being overprotective, etc, even though again, he said he never consider seungjoo romantically until seungjoo is much older). So imagine if the author put any potential between them in muryeong's story lol
Bruh they barely have 10 year age gap (and although i am not an age gap person still bro there are couples featuring much bigger age gap than them) and i swear if it was a straight romance they would not have as much problem, and muheun was hardly ever home when seungju was growing up so ultimately they did not even grew up together weirdos have problem with everything
