I wanna rant…

This story was so wonderful in the beginning, with effectively two chapters just being amazingly written for the most part. I’m still not happy over how forced Gyu-ha having a second child was, like he had genuine concerns and depression, and everyone was like “a second child will fix that.”

Anyway, this story feels like a somehow lighter version of Cherry Blossoms After Winter season 5, which is to say: unnecessary. Amnesia being used as a plot device doesn’t make sense in almost any manhwa I’ve read. In real life, amnesia doesn’t generally affect your memories of specifically one person. The person with amnesia would have gaps that they would notice in their memory. And in the same vein, do they not have pictures of one another? Do they not have pictures of the damn kids that they seemingly forgot about? Why are the parents not cussing Cha-young out for this bullshit, especially as he seemingly forgot about their damn grandchildren that they wanted so bad?

I purchased the other seasons, but I will not be purchasing this one, as it is simply unnecessary. The amnesia arc lasted way too long, brought nothing to the table, and quite frankly made me hate Cha-young. The ending of the arc was also just boring. No yearning, not really any reflecting, and stereotypically using the Omega heat plot device to immediately have them having sex too quickly.

TL;DR: I’m still not over the second child plot, and the amnesia was unnecessary. This story went from excellent to meh for me.

Sorry for the rant, I just had to get this off my chest.
