Bruh in reality if someone cheated on you, you really can't shake the feeling of mistrust, so you tend to have this mindset "His not changing" so you always expect disappointment and because you already expected it, you tend to do nothing because there's nothing you can do, you will just tire out yourself confronting and arguing eventually ending up in a full cycle of habit of hurting and forgiving, and the more disappointment the more passiveness and later you really don't expect something from that person anymore.
I know everyone is blaming the male lead, but let's see let's talk about the female lead for a second. If you knew that your husband loved you so much that he would turn up like this, wouldn't you start investigating why it happened, why he suddenly changed, but no, you had all of the clues in your dreams, all of them, you saw them one by one, and you chose still not to do anything. At this point, I just think you want this to happen.
