how do you know we are in the present?
I literally explained why in my comment. If you read chapter 1 again, Jun is asking Mujin to introduce his "wife", that he keeps visiting at night. In this chapter he says Wunyeon is the wife. So that's after ch 1
I wish it had been clearer, but for those also confused, we're in the present now (I missed the reference before, but chapter 26 makes it obvious)
