Tbh I think the story would've been better if it stayed platonic? Al having been deprived of love as a child, it's not clear or explored whether she's just reciprocating the others feelings or actively feeling a different love towards Jules and Phay. And I'm not against a platonic marriage but in that case why not with the other binahs too ? I HIGHLY preferred The Villain Discovered My Identity on the romance development, here it felt like an afterthought... What about El and Corrynt's feelings too ? What about her feelings towards her gender identity? Why's she in a dress for her wedding when we've never seen her explore femininity before? (except when forced at the Uni)
