It is ultimately selfish. The past students, no matter how hard they try develop their individuality, will always experience things that link back to Prof. It's a reoccurance thats builds deep resentment. It seems that Compton might have been the closest out of all students aside from Garam, and from his personal injustice he feels he needs to liberate all others affected, its something so strong it blinds him. He thinks he's free but he is the most in shackles out of his own personal vendetta. The visuals show that as much as he hates Kim, he has ultimately become him... in a lesser extremity
I wonder why there are some people who are stuck in the past like compton , ok the actions from the past affect your present and hurts u or whatever emotion it gives u , but u can't live ur present on the past things ,
Yall have the same experience from the professor u suffered, but it doesn't mean u must have the same path or the same reaction on it , i think compton is dragging garam not for the sake of garam's music , but out of his selfishness
