Most depictions of women in manhwa are misogynistic. Many of them hardly focus on connections between women and instead put them all against each other for male leads. You’re right, women like this do exist, but it’s painfully obvious how terrible these authors are at writing women. The worst contenders are otome isekais. The female lead’s siblings, trusted acquaintances, even enemies, are usually all men whilst there’s only the occasional loyal female maid. Terrible fathers could possibly get redemption and terrible mothers get punished. Terrible sisters are the ultimate villain and terrible brothers are just misunderstood
Sometimes it’s obvious these authors cannot make the female lead ‘stand out’ without making every other female character in the story absolute dogshit
Unfortunately it is the cheapest kind of woman villain in josei, the problem is that it has been repeated multiple times here, first the blonde girl, the florist coworker, the girl from the street. And it looks like Mincheol also has a bunch of clingy, no self respect women like the girl from the flashbacks, Ari and the new coworker. Hopefully this girl is the last one.

The women in here offends me so much with the way they’re depicted, it is so misogynistic but at the same time I can’t deny that some women like these actually exist and it pains me to accept that pill. There’s pick-me girls everywhere in this series I gotta stop reading but I need to see mincheol grovelling
