Flashback / Context (from my understanding)

The story follows Yeo Ji-woon, a broken Omega dealing with severe emotional trauma and painful memories.

Once deeply in love, the Uke and the Seme were planning a future together. They talked about marriage, searched for a new home, and envisioned the life they would share. While the Uke dreamed of finding a house where they could raise a child, the Seme showed little interest in becoming a parent, believing that the two of them alone were enough.

The truth was that the Uke was already pregnant with the Seme's child. Realizing the Seme might never accept the baby, the Uke chose not to force parenthood upon him. Instead, he asked for some time apart to think through what to do.

The Seme refused to accept the separation. Convinced that the unborn child was the reason the Uke no longer found "just the two of them" sufficient, he resolved to eliminate what he saw as the source of the distance between them.

During a confrontation, the Seme forcibly knotted the Uke, caused a "pheromone shower" incident, and intentionally targeted the pregnancy, causing a miscarriage. The traumatic assault left the Uke with permanent biological complications, damaging his omega physiology. Unable to maintain stable pheromone levels or form a lasting imprint, he copes through frequent casual encounters as a form of pheromone therapy — Struggling to afford costly medical hormone treatments, Uke signs up for an online application that allows clients to rent out Omegas for short-term companionship.

Following the incident, the Seme was placed under a restraining order under the Omega Protection Act, barring him from contacting or approaching the Uke.
