Oh my God I would appreciate if you could share the link of that theory. Lately I've been revisiting past theories about ASOIAF because I felt nostalgic and I'm still waiting for the release of The Winds of Winter.（/TДT)/
Anyways, I remember reading a theory about ASOIAF that the reason why the descendants of Targaryens become mad because of the ongoing incest, and that's also why the Lannister twins' eldest is also mad. I wonder if Ilodel's family, somewhere in their line committed incest, cuz it's also a pattern in the past in order to "keep the bloodline pure", since they are also obsessed about the alpha being the best alpha and this is also the reason why Logan and Tibane is kind of insane.
Welp, this is just my guess and since many of the novel readers said this was actual incest, it's one theory I could think of ¯_(ツ)_/¯
