This is so fucked up. I somehow feel...pity for Kairos? Maybe it’s because of the immersive nature of the story, but whenever Chloe revenges on him, I don’t feel satisfaction nor joy in it. Usually I do, but to me, taking advantage of one’s “genuine” and deep love, seems so wrong (as ironic as it is).
Even though Kairos did the same thing to her, and Chloe is just returning the act, I always feel pity and sadness for him, as he truly seemingly “loves” her. You can see glimpses of him trying to suit Chloe’s taste of kind, thoughtful men. But at the same time, he’s only getting worst and worst, more insane, more irrational, and more cruel. He killed countless in the name of love. So why do I feel pity for him if he does not deserve it?
