I mean like his whole thing is how much he hates how rabid he acts if he does that he will become just like his dad but w Rena he’s trying to separate himself from that reality that could’ve happened + a life on the run is way more harsh than living as a mistress
why can’t theo just kill the duke and run away?? like sure it’s not quite that simple but… wouldn’t that be a better route than planing to get married but still staying with rena?
