I cannot believe you still have empathy left for your mother after all the things (you think?) she did like orchestrating your brothers death, killing your (best) friend, being a accomplice(more like coercing the person involved to commit a crime) in an accident that leads to permanent injury, killing her own best friend(not sure if you know tho) and despite suspecting all this you think your father just disappeared and you think your mother wasn’t involved? Like make it make sense the minute you thought she killed your brother you should have suspected she had something to do with your father’s disappearance
I know you were young and didn’t want to think about uncomfortable things and your father is a sore point he wasn’t exactly an ideal father but come on this writing doesn’t feel natural it feels formulaic
Spoilers ahead
