I really don't like Takahashi. Being that manipulative setting things up and just letting the drama unfold before outing the sad backstory. I think our guy would've been perfectly accommodating even if he told him everything from the start and just skip the painful experience where everyone else in that office was just watching him being yelled at. It might be somewhat OK if Sugihara felt that way and will show hostility towards him in the future. Teaming up with Hoshina in their trash talk would be kinda satisfying. But I guess he's just too kind to care about being used in this way...
