I completely agree. Like I get they were trying to show the title's creed (she literally gentle parented them lol) but that is such a wildly underwhelming response to literal slavery???? I wish she tore them new assholes and the boys were forced to experience character development and actually learn why slavery is wrong instead of just abstaining because it upsets her. Better yet, author should not have included slavery at all. Wild. Just wild.
