Like the starting chapter does seem annoying like it's building this protagonist as cool and suave and macho. But he actually has emotions, and not only that other characters around him are also solid not just props. There's no weird ass romance, it straight up went to family bonds, and breaking every incel's expectation. It's not hammering in the alpha male narrative, it's hammering in the fact that this is a story about a man who cares about his dad, sister, uncles, aunties, seniors, and in a way even himself; and he's doing everything in his arsenal to make a happy ending for all.
