I normally never read slow burns but bro, the plot was so good it didn't even matter. Their love felt real and not rushed. She didn't have to change herself for him or the kingdom to be loved which is so beautiful and she didn't become soft at the end, she remains true to herself and I just loved that. I love how they didn't make the two other women who were competing to be empress become villain. Everyone had such a good ending.
