I also think Minyoung as the bottom appeases his obsession. He gets to feel completely chosen and surrounded by Cheol, and know that Cheol is deriving pleasure and losing himself in HIM. He gets to feel chosen and he loves that.
i swear, their sexual roles really balances out their character. cheol is pathetic, someone with no power and control in his life or anything around him while minyoung is obsessive, controlling and psychopathic which makes him overwhelming (for the reader). making cheol top gave him a sense of control on what's in his hand at the moment while minyoung being a bottom atleast gives him the experience of not being the one in control for once. T∆T if minyoung was the top, i bet he'll be too much to handle, much more on what he can do to cheol if his obsession overflows.
