basically what I kinda think happened was that in the beginning-ish the seme basically told the uke that he knew that the uke had killed his parents in the crash that also killed the uke’s son. Right?, So that’s why the uke felt so guilty and had like some kind of ptsd of cars. So basically that how he kinda got the uke to do what he wanted. And then in the ending chp7 the seme ig started remembering more about the day of the crash( maybe he didn’t fully remember) . So it’s shown that the seme’s parents were negligent and abusive. And so his dad being a mechanic and all, the seme found that taking out parts of a car could be very dangerous. So it’s implied that in the crash that killed the semes parents and the ukes son was actually caused by the seme. Bc the seme took off a part. But the uke obviously doesn’t know and the seme probably wasnt gonna tell since ig they both are dependent on each other now and like toxic love or wtv. So seme killed the 4 people (kid from the school, his mommy and daddy, and the uke’s son) and almost 5 (that one brown haired guy that lowk got lucky).
